Gorsa Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our team in New York. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, from receiving and storing products to preparing and packaging them for delivery. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store all warehouse products, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Pull supplies from inventory and prepare them for delivery according to approved orders.
  • Fill orders for supplies and equipment as authorized, maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain weekly inventory reconciliation using the internal inventory tracking system.
  • Keep the warehouse neat, orderly, and optimized for space efficiency.
  • Demonstrate the ability to count and inspect finished goods weekly, ensuring product integrity.
  • Perform cycle counting responsibilities to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Become proficient with warehouse management systems (NAV, bio track) and utilize them effectively.
  • Receive and check inbound goods for accuracy, placing them in their proper locations.
  • Enter data related to inventory and inbound/outbound orders, maintaining precise records.
  • Verify that manifests align with label wording and amounts for packaged inventory.
  • Package products according to shipping tickets, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and shrink-banded.
  • Maximize the effectiveness of space within the warehouse for optimal operations.
  • Coordinate with the courier team for delivery, ensuring products are checked and prepared.
  • Provide coverage in the processing and cultivation departments as business needs require.
  • Embody and promote the culture, values, and goals of Gorsa Logistics in all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. minimum.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, as required by state law for working in a cultivation center.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing and packaging, with a focus on product safety, consumer safety, satisfaction, and high product quality.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn and improve operations.
  • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods, such as preparing products for packaging and conducting regular inventory checks.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
