Gorsa Logistics is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Officer to manage and oversee warehouse operations at our New York facility. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Ensure proper inventory control, stock accuracy, and efficient space utilization.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams for seamless supply chain operations.
• Maintain warehouse safety protocols and compliance with company policies.
• Oversee the handling of equipment, including forklifts and storage systems.
• Generate and maintain reports on stock levels, damages, and warehouse performance.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff to optimize productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety procedures.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials when required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
