Gorsa Logistics is seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are organized and eager to grow within a fast-paced logistics environment. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including documenting incoming and outgoing items.
• Keep work areas tidy and organized.
• Maintain inventory of shop supplies.
• Load and unload materials from designated storage areas.
• Verify documented stock counts against physical counts.
• Receive and fill orders or prepare supplies for shipment.
• Install protective devices to ensure safe transportation of items.
• Drive trucks or forklifts to pick up stock or deliver materials.
• Pick up and deliver customer equipment, shop supplies, and parts.
• Perform janitorial and maintenance duties around the facility, such as changing light bulbs, removing trash, and communicating work orders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• No prior experience required—training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of similar work experience is preferred but not required.
