Gorsa Logistics is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team in New York. This is a dynamic opportunity for a tech-savvy professional to support our growing operations by ensuring seamless IT processes and driving technology solutions. You will be at the forefront of maintaining the IT infrastructure and providing excellent technical support to our teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide IT support in person, via support tools, or through our ticketing system.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, anticipating future needs while avoiding surplus.
- Support the migration of on-premise systems to Azure for corporate and production workloads.
- Manage IT onboarding/offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and deactivation of accounts for departing employees.
- Keep our corporate systems up to date using Intune, Azure Update Management, and other tools to maintain security.
- Administer productivity and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, Jira Cloud, Adobe, and Confluence, ensuring optimal user engagement.
- Work collaboratively on IT projects to improve procedures and enhance efficiency.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions and technologies to enhance IT support services.
- Take ownership of IT operations by ensuring timely resolution of technical issues, maintaining system reliability, and improving end-user experience.
What You’ve Done:
- 1-2 years of IT support experience in a multi-branch office environment.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Office365, Exchange Online, Zoom, Slack, and SharePoint Online.
- Experience using a ticketing platform like Jira Service Management.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure AD, VMs, PIM).
- Familiarity with machine deployment automation tools (e.g., Autopilot) and PowerShell scripting.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (subnets, VLANs).
- Prior experience managing switches and wireless networks is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
